18 Nov 186th Annual SLTOA Veterans Run.  Meet at the State Farm parking lot on Columbia Center, immediately south of the McDonalds on IL 3 in Columbia at 9:30, cars roll at 10 AM for a flats and hills run to lunch in Perryville, MO.  All proceeds from donations will go to a veterans’/veterans’ service organization, more details to follow.

5-6 Oct 18—Annual Jaguar Association of St Louis Concours d’Elegance, Faust Park, 15185 Olive Blvd, Chesterfield.  The weekend starts Friday with car-washing at the Drury Inn, 12-5:30 PM, followed by registration and a cocktail party, 5:30-7 PM.  Cars go on display at Faust Park Saturday between 7 and 9 AM, judge’s meeting 11:15 AM to noon, judging through 3:30 PM with the awards dinner from 6-10:30 PM Saturday night.  Details to follow, monitor www.jagstl.com and the online Growl.

6-8 Sept 18Annual Brits in the Ozarks, hosted by the British Iron Touring Club of Northwest Arkansas.  Bill Warner, founder of the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance, is this year’s special guest.  Tour of the Arkansas wine country with lunch at the Ozark General Store on Thursday 6 September, drive to Eureka Springs and the Crystal Bridges Museum on the 7th with a party that night, car show and awards dinner Saturday the 8th.
