Aces & Eights

Yeah, it was a bit warm today, I expect several of the participants had their air conditioners going full blast.  But, what a great day for the 2nd Annual Aces & Eights Poker Rally and what a great drive.  Event coordinator Steve Zantop put together a highly entertaining route and we had a strong turnout of cars, including three Spitfires, the Lamberg Spit6, a TR6, Lotus Exige, Austin-Healey Sprite, two Corvettes, a ’59 Alfa Romeo Giulietta and an incredible ’55 Chevy.

The drive started and ended at Ferriss Park, off of New Ballwin south of Manchester.  At the end point, everyone presented their hands (classic luck of the draw: most of them were atrocious), awards were made and everyone enjoyed a meal of dogs, brats, chips and drinks courtesy of the Moores.  All in all, quite a day; our complements to the organizers and all who participated.

Ace IS the Place!
