Well yes, it was a tad chilly this morning, ie, overcast, 44 degrees or thereabouts and a stiff breeze. Still, 16 people in 10 cars turned out for SLTOA’s second drive of the year, from O’Fallon, Missouri to Cedar Lake Winery, south of Foristell. The route took us through about 50 miles of hills, valleys, twists and turns and fortunately, once we cleared the Daniel Boone Home historic site, the skies opened up, temps increased and we all enjoyed the rest of the day.
What’s next on the schedule? The annual Forest Park Easter Concours, hosted by the Horseless Carriage Club of Missouri, is 9 April. As for drives, more to come!
